1. Legal basis
Under the Spirits Law No. 17 of 2005 and the Public Health Law of Jordan, it is unlawful to supply alcoholic beverages to persons under 21 years of age. Kas & Maza enforces this requirement at three points: account creation, age-gate confirmation on the website, and physical ID verification by the delivery driver.
2. Accepted documents
- Jordanian National ID card (الهوية الوطنية)
- Jordanian residency card for non-citizens
- Valid passport with date of birth visible
Photocopies, expired IDs, and digital photos of IDs are not accepted.
3. Right to refuse
Our drivers are trained and authorised to refuse delivery if the recipient cannot present valid ID, appears intoxicated, or is suspected of buying on behalf of a minor. Refused orders are returned to the warehouse and may incur a JOD 5 travel fee.
